E-mail Confirmation Classes

Confirmation classes meet weekly beginning in October of each year, preparing our 13-year olds for commitment to the church, and to a life of discipleship.  Confirmation occurs on Pentecost Sunday, which falls around the end of May.  At that time those confirmands wishing to do so make a public profession of faith, and accept the privileges and responsibilities of membership.

Confirmation classes provide a systematic overview of the Christian faith, including our identity, Scripture, history and heritage, practices, beliefs, and the commitments we make as United Methodists.  We seek to provide a safe and supportive place in which young people can explore the faith and experience it through Christian community, relationships, spiritual disciplines, and service.
